Renewal questionaire for congregations
Each year the Synod is required to make formal representations to its insurers regarding its continually evolving risk profile.
This important task requires Synod to notify insurers of any material change in risk in relation to its assets, activities and resources as part of the annual renewal negotiation process.
Unfortunately insurers today, demand more and more information and failure to do so can result in cover being denied in the event of a claim.
To support and assist this task, we are this year introducing a new on-line Renewal Questionnaire for all Congregations to complete which will replace the previous paper based declarations.
This will allow Congregations to review renewal information on-line included data submitted in previous years for reference purposes.
Your Presbytery Treasurers have already been informed of this new process, which was piloted last year by the Synod’s schools and commercial entities.
In summary, the on-line Renewal Questionnaire contains a series of questions specifically requested by insurers, which we have arranged into following four forms.
We would be grateful if you could complete this task by no later than Wednesday 22nd January as we need to then consolidate and then present all of the Synod’s responses to insurers in early February.
