Urgent Reminder for all Uniting Church Organisations

This is an urgent reminder that all Uniting Church organisations with the Synod of NSW and the ACT will need to submit their Annual Information Statement to the Australian Charities and Not For Profits Commission (ACNC).

The Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC) came into operation in December 2012.  It is the Federal Government regulatory body that will oversight all charities and not for profits in Australia and to whom these organisations will be accountable to for their operations.

If your organisation has a financial year ending 30 June, you are required to submit your 2013 Annual Information Statement to the ACNC before 31 December 2013.
