Is bigger better?

Is bigger better?

Like, totally epic. That’s what is in store for you when you click here to check out the full Big Picture podcast this week. Or you can watch the video reviews below!

New releases Gods of Egypt and Hail, Caesar! are pointing back to Hollywood’s golden years at a cinema near you. So, film reviewer Ben and scriptwriter Mark thought it high time to go all epic on The Big Picture.

They reveal whether those movies cut any mustard as grand entertainment – and also highlight how both dedicate much attention to matters of divinity, humanity and salvation. Plus, in a coup for The Big Picture, Mark interviews cinema titan Bill Collins about why they don’t make movies like they used to.

On a less epic but still noteworthy note, Mark and Ben investigate The Lady In The Van and what this Maggie Smith drama reveals about homelessness, charity and respect.
