A diverse group of leaders have been meeting over the last few days about the unfolding situation in India.
The Power of Love series in past years has been a way for people to express their common grief and solidarity through the Sydney Alliance.
Next Thursday the Sydney Alliance is hosting a Covid-safe vigil at Sydney Town Hall.
You, your members and your organisation are invited to participate.
Many people, but especially Indian-Australians are experiencing isolation and grief not just at the crisis in India, but also some of the Federal Government’s decisions.

Bring: candle & mask, banner/sign of your organisation or community
Speakers of faith, community, union, business groups & (likely) elected representatives.
1) Bear witness to the humanitarian tragedy unfolding in India
2) Indian-Australians to share the impact of gov decisions on them
3) Demonstrate solidarity with India across our communities & share in our collective grief.
4) Call to do more to all communities & levels of government

This vigil is being organised by Sydney Alliance with Sydney Community Forum – and a growing list of organisations.
