Healthy Churches Expo 2020

The Healthy Churches Expo is hosted by the NSW/ACT Synod of the Uniting Church in Australia, resourced by Uniting Mission & Education, Uniting Resources, and Uniting.

The Expo focuses on ways these organisations can –

• equip, support and empower presbyteries, congregations and lay people in areas of discipleship, mission, leadership, and governance; and

• connect and engage people within the wider Uniting Church community.

Our expo program for 2020 will include four streams:

• Administration and Governance
• Mission and Growth
• Leadership and Discipleship
• Healthy Congregations

We’ll have a wide range of speakers and presenters and engaging sessions on topics like church council, treasury, safe church, mission, mentoring and leaderships, rural networks, youth and emerging gen, communications, how to engage with our community and the environment – and more!

How do I attend?

The expo will be hosted at the Centre For Ministry in North Parramatta.

But if you can’t be with us physically, don’t worry! Sessions will be livestreamed, so you can also log on and participate via your computer or smart device.

You’ll also be able to participate in the Q&A for program sessions, and log into some networking ‘online cafes’ throughout the day.

How much does it cost?

There is a cost to attend the Expo at The Centre for Ministry of $25 per person. This includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea plus entry into any of the sessions and activities happening at the Centre on the day.

For our ‘Virtual Attendee’ ticket holders, there is no cost to attend.
