More Details:
Conflict is an inevitable and not necessarily wholly undesirable part of human relationships and interactions. In this workshop we will explore the ways in which we can transform the conflict into something that develops and deepens relationship rather than being expressed violently. The workshop will examine the causes and myths that surround conflict. We will then look at a number of tools which can be used to help to bring about conflict transformation. The students will also present a conflict scenario to the rest of the group as a hands on exploration of the process. This workshop is for anyone in position of authority in the life of the church who would like to improve the way in which they or their group deals with conflict.
The week-long course is led by Rev Martin Levine, Minister at Beecroft Uniting Church, previously Principal at Alan Walker College of Evangelism.
