Uniting to support the mission of the Church
Bronwyn Murphy, Lay Education, Discipleship, Rural Ministry Consutltant for Uniting Mission and Education has described how “Stewardship calls us to think beyond our own bubble of wants and needs and think about how others are doing. Giving – even a small amount – be it time, money or energy – means someone else is not forgotten or overlooked, but has the opportunity to be gathered into God’s realm as a much loved and valued disciple.”
Living is Giving is how we engage and sustain the mission of the Uniting Church in the Synod of NSW and the ACT. In turn, we are enabling ministry agents like Bronwyn Murphy, to perform their mission work through Uniting Mission and Education. Bronwyn supports and strengthens rural communities with the resources and materials needed to continue vital work.
Giving generously helps spread the reach and impact of God’s mission far and wide.
In addition to developing a vibrant faith in our community, just some of the vital mission areas the Church continues to support include; the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress, multi-cultural ministry, sharing faith in schools and universities and transforming ministry of young people.
