What do you do when you turn 50?

Hip hip hooray! The Big Picture turns 50 this week! Film reviewer Ben McEachen and screenwriter Mark Hadley celebrate throughout The Big Picture podcast (click here to listen), adding special “50” moments among their usual  swag of Christian commentary upon pop culture.

Apart from Ben’s Top 5 Movie Gifts For You and a soundtrack choice to cheer about, The Big Picture show dives into a wide variety of new releases. Ben warns us about Grimsby, the new action film from the guy who gave us Borat. Mark is more positive about the end-of-world thriller 10 Cloverfield Lane, and corrupt-cop drama Triple 9 (starring Kate Winslet as a Russian mob boss) should cause us to think about whether we should respect and trust those who enforce the law.
