Would you risk death to follow your dreams?

New 3D release The Walk tells the true tale of a French artist (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who was obsessed with walking on a tightrope between New York’s Twin Towers. Apart from giving you vertigo through high-rise special effects, The Walk also delivers a similar question to another recent 3D movie, Everest.
Should people risk their own lives – and the lives of other people – as they pursue their passion?
Film critic Ben McEachen and scriptwriter Mark Hadley are The Big Picture duo. Watch below as they chat about what The Walk is like as a movie that promotes following your dreams. At any cost.
You also can check out their reviews of Johnny Depp’s gangster tale Black Mass and the return of cult TV series Fargo.
As it does each week, The Big Picture brings us Christian insights and wisdom about the latest movies and TV. To give us all a hand when it comes to living our lives for God… even when we’re at the cinema or in our home theatre.
