Christian TV – Christmas 2013
Channel 7 have agreed to screen a half-hour television program commissioned by Christian Television Australia on Christmas Day.
It is written and produced by the team behind the acclaimed An Innocent Man?, which screened nationally on Channel 7 on Good Friday 2012. (www.aninnocentman.tv)
In an Australian first, the producers have launched a crowd-funding appeal to raise the funds to make the program.
“Not everyone is in a position to be able to create a TV program and have it shown on commercial television,” says writer/producer Phil Smith. “But this offers a chance for everyone to participate. If you are interested in seeing more quality Australian Christian content on your TV screens, especially at Christmas time, then here is an opportunity to partner in bringing this project to fruition.”
The crowd-funding appeal is set to end on Monday, 16th September, so don’t delay.
A medical doctor by trade, Phil Smith heads up Australian Christian Multimedia, a not-for-profit charity, which is spear-heading this push for Christians around the country to unite behind the common purpose of spreading the message of Jesus further this Christmas.
“Not only will you contribute materially to creating the show (and all donations over $2 are fully tax-deductible), you will also be helping to build an audience for the show – and at the same time building momentum and anticipation,” Phil said.
Please consider joining this marvelous and unique opportunity!
