Acculturated

Acculturated

Naomi Schaefer Riley & Christine Rosen, Templeton Press

Acculturated — a play on “A-Culture-Rated” — is a collection of twenty-three editorial-style essays which critique and “find hidden virtue” in various facets of modern and technological popular culture. Many of the essays are thought-provoking and show a deep level of insight.

The often light-hearted and easy-to-read style of writing means Acculturated is not hard to pick up and get into. It is not religious in presentation but raises a host of material for Christians to engage with: a good substitute for newspapers as a dinner conversation topic generator and equally good for groups to meet over for discussion.
