This is a very informative book about a service that everybody has heard of but probably knows little about.

Starting back in 1890, the report opens with a timeline overview of Outback mission work from 1890 to the present day.

It then presents a short précis of all the missions and services run by the Uniting Church in the Outback.

This internal report of the Uniting Church, released during the Assembly meeting last year, deserves to be seen by a wider public.

Each congregational secretary or minister was presented with a copy but it would be better still if there were several copies available in any congregation.

I would recommend all congregations to order more copies to share with their people.
