Get moving with Moveability

Launched on 23 April, the MOVEability Challenge returns this year to raise much needed funds to support young people who may be in crisis, at risk or currently homeless. This campaign has a very serious message and is an opportunity for us to create community awareness for our youth services.

On any given night, around Australia, 105,000 people don’t have a place to call home. 42% of the homelessness population is under the age of 25.

MOVEability challenges you to be active for 31 days (May).  By setting a kilometre target and nominating a fundraising target, you will be committing to help us make a difference to young people who access our homelessness services.

It’s easy:

  • Choose an activity to get you moving
    1. Walk
    2. Run
    3. Cycle
    4. Swim
  • Set a kilometre and fundraising target
  • Visit moveability.org.au to register and setup a fundraising page and include your targets
  • Share your fundraising page with family, friends and colleagues asking for their support or invite them to participate as well.

Together we can make a difference so get a move on and register before 1 May. Don’t forget to find us on Facebook www.facebook.com/MOVEabilitychallenge

Contact moveability@unitingcarenswact.org.au if you have further questions.
