The annual commemorative events which the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies holds to mark Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance) will take place in April.
The theme for this year’s commemoration is “Rebuilding Lives” and we will be hearing from Holocaust survivors about their experiences during the Holocaust and how they rebuilt their lives in Australia.
There is also a morning remembrance service on April 8, at Martyrs’ Memorial Rookwood at 10:30am.
