Celebrate the power and joy of Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday at Wesley Mission’s Easter Sunrise Service at the Sydney Opera House with the sun rising over Sydney Harbour as the backdrop. Like the faithful women, we wake early to look for the Lord—and here he is, risen and radiant, to greet us.
Featuring an address by the Rev Keith V Garner, AM, an interview with Louisa Hope, a hostage in the Lindt Café siege, as well as performances by the BordererS and the Wesley Impact! band who will provide rich, rousing and inspiring music, the service is a celebration of the risen Jesus Christ coinciding with the sun rising. We would love you to join us for the service followed by hot cross buns, warm drinks and company on the Opera House forecourt.
This event is free and open to all.
The Easter Sunrise Service is broadcast live nationwide on Channel 9, simulcast on Sydney’s Hope FM 103.2 and Melbourne’s Light FM and live streamed on wesleymission.org.au
