Sarah Gillis recently undertook a charity challenge through UnitingWorld – raising over $10 000 to support the education of underprivileged girls in small rural communities within the Punjab, India.
Travelling with a group of 10 she got to see firsthand how the funds are being used.
Energetic project partner, the Church of North India, is delivering life changing opportunities to children and families who would otherwise be chained to a cycle of indentured labour and hopelessness.
Learn how this is being achieved?
Sarah’s talk will give an insight into the culture, background and environment in which the project is being delivered, let you hear some ‘good news’ stories and then enjoy some of the wonderful scenery that she was able to experience.
