More Details:
Lying behind labels like Uniting for the Common Good is the practice of a public theology. This workshop is designed to look beneath the labels and explore the biblical and theological foundations for this kind of work. Public theology is a relatively new discipline that is being practised around the globe. It has its own principles of good praxis.
This interactive workshop will explore how a pubic theology engages with three current issues of Race, Climate and COVID 19.
The workshop will be led by:
- Dean Drayton, former President of the Assembly
- Keith Hamilton, Senior Minister / CEO, Parramatta Mission
- Clive Pearson, one of the founders of the Global Network of Public Theology and Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Public Theology.
To receive further information and to register for the zoom session please also email
amelia.pereira@parramattamission.org.au before Friday 16 October.
