Afternoon tea provided. The Social Justice Advocacy Workshop will be facilitated by Jon O’Brien Social Justice Advocacy Coordinator.
Topics covered are: Reflecting on our motivations for advocacy, examining and applying the advocacy planning cycle, considering what advocacy strategies to use in different situations.
Community Engagement will be facilitated by Chris McAlpine, Community Development Coordinator and will cover topics such as: Exploring the why, what and how of community engagement , Developing strategies to increase your community connections , Increasing the effectiveness of your community engagement.
