This workshop is being hosted at Pittwater Uniting Church, Warriewood, on Saturday 19th May 2012 (9.15am-3.30pm) and will be co-presented by Rev Steve Everist and Emma Parr.
The Safe Church Awareness Workshops are essential safety and protection awareness and skills building workshops for leaders working with children, youth and other vulnerable people. This includes Ministers, Elders/Church Councillors, youth/kids/family workers/leaders/helpers, including SRE teachers.
Safe Church Workshops are interactive to help you process the information as you go. As part of the workshop you will receive a safe church manual to take home containing information, contacts and resources for congregations to use. Editable soft copies of these resources are also available on the www.childrensministry.org.au website.
Workshops cost $15 per person which can be paid by a participant or their congregation.
If you would like to attend, please indicate via online registration, phone or email by Monday 14th May 2012. If you intend to come and/or bring a group but are not 100% sure of numbers please give an indication before this date to ensure there are sufficient places and materials available on the day.
