More Details:
Postcolonial criticism grew its roots in the Departments of Literature and Third World Studies, and crawled into the paths of philosophy and religious studies. This conference invites the crossing of those paths, in response to the joys and cries of First Peoples.
How might we engage the colonialist tendencies and blind-spots that drive the machineries of politics, economics, services, religions and scriptures? How might we live, interact, worship and/or read postcolonially in our invaded contexts?
To be held at United Theological College, School of Theology, Charles Sturt University 16 Masons Drive, North Parramatta, NSW 2151. Registration Fee: $70/full time, $30/student/pension.
All meals provided. Inquiries to Charissa Suli, charissasuli@bigpond.com for registration and accommodation details.
