The Academic Year at United Theological College is being marked with a worship service, an inaugural lecture, and two preaching seminars.
The Opening Service, held at 9.30 am in the St Andrews Chapel, will include the induction of Ian Robinson as Alan Walker Lecturer in Evangelism, Mission, and Leadership.
Morning tea will be served at 11 am.
The Inaugural Lecture, held in the auditorium at 11.30 am, will be “Turning the Page: Biblical paradigms for evangelism” by Ian Robinson, Alan Walker Lecturer in Evangelism, Mission & Leadership.
Jeff Aernie, New Testament Lecturer, and Anthony Rees, Old Testament Lecturer, will be presenting preaching seminars in the afternoon focusing on preaching in the Gospel of Luke and Isaiah, 1.30 to 4 pm.
