United Theological College is delighted to be hosting the launch of ‘Joy Interrupted: A memoir of depression and prayer’ authored by Uniting Church minister, Geoffrey Lilburne.
Most of us have some personal connection with depression within our family, friends or work communities.
For some of us is a lifetime challenge. Geoffrey Lilburne – theologian, poet and retired academic – has released a memoir exploring his own history of recurrent depression in the piercing light
of questions about God in the midst.
Beautifully written, it comes from a place of depth and honesty.
