This symposium aims to help build connections between UnitingCare and the Uniting Church to inspire and equip people to respond to community needs together.
It will be of interest to Uniting Church members involved in community development or mission activities, or who are keen to strengthen their church’s community engagement and connections, as well as UnitingCare staff.
There will be 12 speakers talking about a range of topics and projects. Some topics that will be covered include foundations for community development, strengthening congregations through community development, partnerships and working together, community projects, and working with different communities.
There will be plenty of opportunities for table discussions by participants.
The cost is $20 and this includes morning and afternoon teas, and lunch.
