Climate Pastoral Care Training
28 May 2019
8:30 AM - 8:30 PM
Centre for Ministry, UTC
Australians are anxious, angry and uncertain about climate change, what it means for their own futures, and what it means for the health and safety of their children and grandchildren.
They are looking for hope and support in these difficult times. This training day will be an opportunity for ministers, priests, chaplains and religious leaders to share experiences of climate anxiety you have
encountered, hear from experts, and to discuss how best to provide pastoral care in an age of climate change and global ecological destruction.
Training 8:30am – 5:30pm (church leaders and pastoral carers)
Dinner: 6pm (optional)
Evening Talk: 7pm – 8:30pm (everyone welcome)
Discounted tickets for attendees coming from rural and remote areas are available.
