More Details:
Chaplaincy is very different from congregational placements. There are many myths and misunderstandings about what it involves. Lack of understanding makes it difficult for:
· Candidates to consider Chaplaincy as a ministry
· Ministers to plan transitions and consider whether they may be suited
· Presbyteries to conduct Vital Ministries
· ACOMP and JNCs to evaluate or match people to placements
This intensive won’t teach you how to be a chaplain* but it will give you insight into the breadth and depth of the calling and placement.
A free chaplaincy awareness/transition course will be run at Uniting Theological College, North Parramatta on 26 and 27 February 2020.
