Walking Back to Grief – A space for those feeling grief, loss, sadness and pain this Christmas.

Normally Christmas is all about joy, but the truth is for many of us Christmas doesn’t always feel so joyous.
Though it is true to say there are many things we have discovered, learnt, and embraced over this time, it is also true that these past months have been really hard. We have experienced grief and loss. We have lost people we loved and have often not been able to say goodbye as we would have wanted. We have lost our jobs, our businesses, watched opportunities us pass by and missed out on milestones
Through this service of worship, we want to provide a space for all of us to lament and celebrate the sadness we feel. During this time, we will gather both physically and virtually in the presence of one another, and in the presence of God who came in the darkness to bring light.
For those of you who are particularly sad at this time, we hope that you find some form of peace through our worship together that will help to carry you through these next few weeks and comfort in the knowledge that you are not alone.
