More Details:
The Maules Creek mine has been described as an iconic battle to prevent the further
expansion of coal mining in Australia.
A concerted effort to stop all work for 2 – 4 weeks is starting soon.
We, people of faith, want to publicly stand & pray with those who are standing in the way of the destructive expansion of the open-cut coal mine.
Led by leaders in the Pentecostal, Uniting Church, Catholic and Buddhist traditions
When: For directions to “Wondo” contact stopmaulescreek.au@greenpeace.org .
