The Yarralumla Midwinter Arts and Crafts Show is a favorite, local art and craft event featuring local artists, crafters and musicians.
It has been delighting visitors for over 35 years with a large array of art and craft, food and entertainment.
There is no better way to spend time out of the cold Canberra weather with much to see and buy, great entertainment and delicious refreshments.
Funds support community programs. Last year the show supported the work of Safe Shelter, Red Nose, Companion House, Canberra Refugee Support, Paperworks inc, Caring for Kiriwina, the Hay family in South Africa and Frontier Services.
The opening times for the show are:
Friday 29 June (10.00 am to 8.00 pm)
Saturday 30 June (10.00 am to 5.00 pm)
Sunday 1July (12.00 noon to 5.00 pm)
The show will be officially opened at 6.00pm on Friday followed by a fashion show featuring designs exhibited at the show.
There will be concerts throughout the day on Saturday and on Sunday afternoon. Performers coming to this year’s show include Lady’s Mantle, Vntage Ukes and Andante Andante
The venue for the show is the Yarralumla Uniting Church Centre on Denman St in Yarralumla.
