Easter exhibition addresses timeless question

Work from Archibald Prize finalist Ben Hedstrom, award winning photographers Tim Pascoe and Jarrod Castaing, and a host of local artists will feature in the 2013 Easter Art Exhibition at Pittwater Uniting Church.

The theme for the exhibition is “Who do you say I am?”, a question Jesus posed to his disciples.

Senior minister at Pittwater, the Rev. Nigel Rogers, said, “Easter is a pivotal time in Australian culture for many people to consider the significance of Jesus.

“And this question still draws out a response in our society today.

“This exhibition will be a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to experience the Easter message in a powerful and inspired way.”

The 2013 Easter Art Exhibition, run by Pittwater Uniting Church in partnership with Major Sponsor Osborne Yuille, chartered accountants and financial advisors, will be launched on Saturday March 23 at 6.30 pm.

The exhibition, held in the Basement of Pittwater Uniting Church, will continue until Monday April 1 and will be open every night from 6.30 pm.
