25 years of ministry

25 years of ministry

Twenty-five years of ministry will be celebrated with an open day and worship at the Centre for Ministry, 16 Masons Drive, North Parramatta, on Sunday October 7.

Also celebrated will be over 100 years of vision for forming people for life and ministry at the location.

The legacy of Christian philanthropist, Sir James Burns, building a place where people are nurtured, endures to this day.

An outdoor chapel will be dedicated to mark the occasion, highlighting the centrality of prayer to the Centre for Ministry.

An opportunity to renew people’s baptism and commitment to mission will be led by the Moderator of the Synod of New South Wales and the ACT, the Rev. Dr Brian Brown.

12-5 pm Centre open for inspection.

12.30 pm Lunch provided – bring a picnic rug (in the event of rain, lunch indoors).

2 pm Worship Celebration, including an opportunity to renew vows.

3 pm High Tea to follow official proceedings.

RSVP by September 21 to Radhika Sukumar on 8267 4295.
